This secluded private retreat hidden within Vanuatu archipelago has been kept secret until recent years. Ratua Island Resort & Spa offers a unique and authentic eco-lodge experience, being limited to 38 guests to preserve natural surroundings.
While Ratua offers 146 acres to explore by electric buggy, bike, trek, horseback or boat – most of the amenities are centrally located just a short walk from the Yacht Club. Three villages offer 13 antique houses handcrafted from 200-year-old teak wood with Indo-Oceania inspiration. Each are uniquely furnished and can accommodate two to four guests who can enjoy their own beach and utmost privacy.
13 Indonesian-style villas are shared between 3 villages: Fish Village, West Point Village and South Point Village.
Surrounded by lush gardens, each villa is beautifully furnished with eclectic, vintage pieces, a separate ensuite
bathroom, a terrace and sun lounges with private beach/water access. - There are 8 one-bedroom Villas, 3 two-bedroom
Master Villas, 2 two-bedroom Family Villas and 3 private Villages for up to 13 guests.
Ratua offers also two exclusive 35 m² luxury
beach marquees with outdoor bathroom, located in the Southeastern part of the island, on
the edge of the jungle and overlooking an amazing and private white sand beach.

Ratua Restaurant & Bar : Menus are based on a simple philosophy of the best quality local ingredients. Ratua use 100 percent fresh organic ingredients, mostly fruits and vegetables cultivated in the island’s Kitchen Garden–from pineapples, oranges and grapefruit, to coconuts, tarot, tomatoes and leafy greens. These are supplemented by local meats from the island’s own cattle ranch and the catch of the day from local anglers. - Ratua’s wine cellar houses vintages from around the world–including some Australian, New Zealand and French wines. You will also discover some special champagne and wines exclusively imported from France just for Ratua.
Private dining, picnic lunches and special dietary requirement available
The Coral Reef Spa, Ratua’s overwater Spa, features two private treatment rooms and an open lounge area with stunning views across the water. The specially trained spa staff are available to offer massages, body scrubs, manicures and pedicures using only locally-sourced organic products.
